The image on my desktop is the skinned render of Kraid as he would have appeared in Metroid Prime. It was decided that they did not have enough time to insert him into the game before release, even though he was complete and all they would need have done would be to insert his room(s) into the map.Related content

I'm happy they didn't put this hideous thing into the game. It's simply Kraid missing the top of his head. That makes sense seeing as that was his weak spot, but still... They could've done so much better with the design.

kraid is totally as cool as ridley. why doesn't he show up anymore? But this means he might show up in prime 3! I am so buying a Wii as soon as I have the money! remember his original sprite? he was smaller than Samus!
