Decided to do some tablet PC doodles. I will be calling this girl Mercy. Hopefully more on her in the near future.

somehow I find your colorless doodles better looking than your fully colored clean arts. They have something in the lines and shades that makes them look more alive, real or something.

I certainly can't say that this isn't a normal thing, as I've gotten this quite a number of times.
I think I may have figured out how to rectify that with the linework some, which more or less means using a more dirtier lining. Hopefully that means I can still carry over the feeling from sketch to the fully finished work.

I think the lines don't necessarily need to be dirtier though, just with more thickness nuance in some places perhaps. But I'm no super professional so take that advice with a grain of salt
