This is my entry for =sonic-club 's classic contest, as well as a pic to celebrate Sonic's 14th anniversary, which just happens to be today.

The contest said to draw a classic scene, and so I thought the opening Sega logo was a good idea. Remember when you first turned on Sonic 2, and then Sonic ran left, then right on the screen, revealing the Sega logo? That's what I based this pic on.

Many thanks to ~Blue-the-Echidna for teaching me the kick ass CG'ing style, to *SonicPro for the tutorial, which REALLY helped me to draw Sonic properly, and to Sonic HQ ([link] ) for the Sega logo font, which is available on their site.

(EDIT: What a coincidence (can't spell it)! Today also happens to be my Mum and dad's wedding anniversary!)
