I finished Bioshock Infinite the other day and had to do some fanart of Elizabeth. I'm sad there isn't more out there

Do you start your pieces in greyscale then overlay colors? Or do you start with colors at once?

Yes, for this one I started in value and added color on top. I use that method for most pieces where I don't start with lineart. Otherwise, I start with color.

I'm pretty sure an overwhelming majority of people pick the bird.
On a side note, i've never seen a video game female who was better designed and scripted. I especially liked how her character design changed every so often to represent her loss of innocence.
I wish I could give you something in the way of criticism, but this is sublime. You captured her distinctive look perfectly, particularly those doey eyes.

I've seen many Elizabeth's arts so far, but this one in particular captures perfectly the slender, youthful yet provocative structure of her body. Her face is an excellent work of art as well, suggesting the idea she's smart and strong-willed in spite of being so young.
