oh my god you can't just define that as 'like it'! I love the thing, Spidey! This is so wonderfully amazing in so many ways holy shit! The colors, hhhh, the characters hhh, the everything hHHHhhhh!! The shading is excellent and the contest and the effects!! I just can't comprehend--!! Oi, wait! I could do a thing!
"The time flies", they say. "You can't catch up to a clock", they say. What do they know, how can they be right when an angel is by your side and time seems like it stopped?
"Dean", Cas murmured softly. "Dean, why are you still awake?" "Huh? Oh.. I... Just reading." "Let me see, please." Dean smiled, handed over the book (journal) that his father left to him and Sam, and took a closer look at the man beside him. Ever since Cas got his grace back, he had changed. Even now, he was more human than when he actually was human. Actually, he still had problems brushing his teeth right, or making coffee for an instance. 'Cause in the store, they had these buttons and tiny boxes you just tucked down in a thing. How would Dean know how those worked? He just did his thing. Cas still wanted to be a human, despite all the problems that went with being one, but he also wanted to be the powerful handywork of God, so that he could protect Dean at any cost. Sam and Kevin too of course, but especially Dean.
Cas read for a while, but then he stopped. He smiled the profound smile of his, and chuckled softly as he gently stroke the page with his fingers. "Sam took his first steps today. He walked towards Dean." Cas looked at Dean. "That", he said. "Was a very poetic way to describe love. I hope you understand that." "Cas, I- I know. I've read that book a hundred times. I know what's in it." Dean smiled sadly back at Cas, because even though John Winchester had been an awful father, he had also been an excellent something else.
The angel yawned. The human-period of his life still affected him. Now, he wanted to sleep. He wanted to, and he wanted to eat and do most things humans do every single day, and Dean admired him for it. "Hey, princess. You should sleep", Dean said. He twirled Cas' hair around his fingers and kissed his forehead gently. Cas had already fallen asleep, and snored lightly. The hunter couldn't help himself, and smiled the soft, loving smile everyone knew he had in him, but so very rarely showed and realised himself. "Thanks Cas, for being."
