Its beautiful!. Is Basswood better to woodburn than pine?

Thank you! Actually, I find that basswood is more difficult to woodburn than pine. It's so soft, and therefore burns more quickly than pine. I didn't like it at all when I first tried it, but it just takes some sensitivity with the woodburner... Mine just gets so hot so fast; that's why I needed the temperature modulator (that I still can't find). I guess it depends on who you ask, but I prefer pine
