Permed : To kill an OC permanently.

OC's can be permed in many ways - mainly by God Weapons. (Mr. I's Threads, Carify's Scythe, Brineary's Glaive, Herobrine's Pickaxe, etc.)
Once permed, a character cannot respawn back in their beds like you normally would after being killed by say - a normal iron sword. The soul cannot return to the body as there is too much damage and the basic Minecraft Physics go from from Hard to Hardcore.

Depending on how an OC is built, this rule can be bent in many different directions.

Hearts: Having a heart is common in many OC's and are the most common. Having a heart renders a physical body to be weaker in many instances and is susceptible to more damage, weaknesses, etc. However, it gives the OC's soul much more power and abilities to live on. Souls in themselves cannot be destroyed (Excluding being turned into Wine or eaten). They are ageless and more permanent and still hold a chance to be brought back from the dead. Though a resurrection is much more difficult to obtain as it would require the original body it had came from, a very skilled and experienced necromancer or spell caster, and certain spells. (Example: Carify's Resurrection performed by Entity_303).

- Mainly souls are brought to The Aether. The Aether is Endle's version of Heaven. Souls are brought there to rest in peace.

- OCs brought to the Aether are limited to little RP. Remember, they are dead. Having an OC in the Aether is there to give them a chance to be brought back, not to continue RPing.

A Heart Within A Core: Upon death, the person will lose any abilities to be had with a heart and "Phoenix Down" to merely having a core. (See Owners)

Cores: These are physical manifestations of a soul - one you can carry in your palm. And entire being's mind and soul, able to be picked up and guarded by a hard outer shell. These are mostly common in Spawns and can branch out to Ender Pearls. They cannot be brought into the Aether, but there is 0.000000001% chance that if a core is dropped into the Void, it may land in the Aether. (Example: DI). If this happens, a new body is regenerated for that core. Once a core is broken, the soul itself is shattered and seizes to exist. If a core is saved once the body is destroyed, it can be placed within another body - no matter how badly decayed, and the soul will rejuvenate it and make it exactly how it originally was. A resurrection is much easier and convenient to accomplish. A core is capable of making a body much more strong, have more abilities and move from body-to-body.

(Special) Ender Pearls: If an Endleman (and Endermen from Noternal) gives (Not Taken) a person with a heart (Only a heart) their Ender Pearl, that person is able to achieve a core. The Ender Pearl will fuse with their heart and solidify it. This is irreversible. The only ability they will obtain is Limited Teleportation. - See Owners.

A Core Within A Heart: Upon death, the person upgrades and obtains all the abilities of having a core. (Mostly for 5ths - See Owners)

(5th's are capable of having their cores shattered and still live afterwards - only if they have at least 1 piece remaining in them. Example: Brineary)

Wine: After an OC has been permed by a powerful being such as Mr. I, more than likely, that soul has been turned into his Special Wine. Once this has happened, the OC is gone forever with no chance of being brought back. The soul has been destroyed and possibly consumed as a beverage.

Beings like Mr. Ghul who eat souls can also permanently destroy a soul, but if they aren't turned into wine...

There is still a chance that the soul can return. The being that ate the soul has the choice to spit back up the soul. (Example: Ceress). This is done very rarely as it is like giving up a perfectly good meal. Even after being eaten, a soul is hard to destroy. - Yet another benefit of having a heart.
