Description
This was a VERY long process. Though it only took me a few days to finish, I always managed to stay up until 1 something in the morning working on this.

So basically last Friday and I had no school. And I wanted to make something for my totally awesome friend Lauren, since she wanted a new dA ID and all. So first it started off as this Manga scan of Kairi from the KH1 Manga and it was kind of boring looking, so then I decided, hey, why don't I make her into a KH character? So I did.

I had my friend help me with placement of the eyes and ears, and all that good stuff (including facial structure) since my knowledge on human anatomy is non-existant. So then after that, I went to my computer and just stared at Nomura's official artwork to see how he draws the yes and the lips and the arms...all that good stuff.

It was a long process, but totally worth it! Clothes are hard to draw...and then coming up with something that's kind of different, is also hard. So basically the dress she's wearing is Kairi's from KH2, with Namine's periwinkle-ish dress underneath, and then she has that bag thing on the side, which sort of resembles Sora's clothing. Her clothing is teal, since that's her favorite color, and she's not wearing shoes since well...she's on a beach? Idk, I tried drawing shoes but it failed XD;;;;;

The pose is directly from Kairi from the KH1 manga, since that is one of her favorite poses, and then the background is a direct manga scan from the KH2 Manga, Vol.7.

Drawn with mechanical pencil - 2 hours (I messed up a lot XD)
Pentooled and some by tablet pen - 1 hour
Colored in PS CS2 - around 2 and a half days, minus food and homework breaks.
