Oh yes, the new BSG is amazing! It's definitely one of the best shows on television at the moment.

That was a really good episode...::sighs::
I agree...the first few seasons were the best. Still, a good send off for such a good show

Honestly... I thought season 7 was pretty good as well, but I completely agree with you that it was downsliding- and to me, 8-9-10 were horrible. I continued to watch out of loyalty, but definitely remained wistful for the "good 'ol days" of seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Nice work on this! C:

however, I never once saw a space satelite in the one's filmed in earth's orbit...

We had that one ages ago, where do you live + yeah, pritty crap towards the end, but there's no end of material they used for it that they didn't, they didn't even defeat the new enyemy, that was a sucking ending!

Well the show did loose a lil of it's luster as time went on but I loved it all the same and will still watch the reruns. Good Bye StarGate SG-1. Thanks for all the fun. I heard they might make a new series though called StarGate Universe though. Not sure if it's true.

isn't that the name of the MMO they are making?

I have no clue. I saw it on Wiki. It's supposed to deal with the ninth Shevron that was never used in any current series . Well thats what I read at least.

well following convention, a 9th chevron would indicate a different universe or a different time period (although that'd be a huge plot hole since the ancients were oh-SO-against time travel)
7= coordinate system within our galaxy
8= "add this much distance in this direction" -takes you to another galaxy (but only one gate in each galaxy is enabled to receive dialling from another galaxy. any gate can dial out to outside the galaxy though. the SGC stargate is a special case of course. either the 2nd gate is THE gate, or the protocols got overwritten by the SGC - and it wouldn't be the 1st time they did that)
9= whatever extra dimensional info you need to go to a gate in a different universe (in which case all preceeding chevrons would be the universe identifier)

Checked the Wiki entry for Stargate. Apparently they're supposed to do a movie where they go to the Ori galaxy to defeat them.
I'd say my favorite, though, would have to be that time-loop episode... can't get over the golf scenes.
Also, I'm sure SG-1 will show up in Atlantis. Carter for sure, as they've already given that away, and I'm fairly sure on Jackson (since he's been trying to get over there since they found the place).

I can't believe they've ended...I can never watch them here in Australia, the silly TV stations put them on at midnight. I wish more TV shows like Stargate would come out, to many crime shows.

I should add, I mean the new Battlestar Galactica. The old one is pretty bad but the new remake is amazing.

Ever watched Battlestar Galactica? It's not usually funny like Stargate, but it's really quality sci-fi.
And of course, as for shows in the humorous but also dramatic nature of Stargate, I always recommend the first two Star Trek series (Originals and The Next Generation).

Aah, the good old original Star Trek *g* My sister and I would watch them when they were on and just crack up. We watched them not because we were fans, but just for the comedy factor!
I love your art, especially when you maintain the sketchy quality to them like this one. Shows the inbetween stage very well (inbetween a plain pencil sketch and full colour). Shows how you put it together.

Stargate was indeed a really cool series. Kept up with the best of them as far as Sci-Fi series goes, even with the fame Star Trek: TNG and Voyager. (DS9 really didn't do it for me.)

"A Serpent guard, a Horus guard and a Setesh guard meet on a neutral planet. It is a tense moment. The Serpent guard's eyes glow. The Horus guard's beak glistens. The Seth guard's nose drips."

*AWKWARD PAUSE*
Ahhh, so many memories...At least we still have Atlantis! Soon to have 100% Carter! But sadly, it looks like we won't see Teal'c around apart from the television movies...what a shame.
