Description
For my Editorial Illustration class. We had to illustrate one of the seven deadly sins and I picked "wrath."I decided to illustrate it with pomeranians, because they are admittedly rather wrathful dogs, in a cute sort of way. I know Sambu tries so hard to be angry and tough at times. They all seem to suffer from Napoleon complexes.
Ballpoint pen, Photoshop, and Corel Painter. Texture is scanned scratched glass.

I love poms. I've had my own for 12 years now. So when I saw my favorite show had one, that was obviously awesome.

Poms are much stronger and braver than people make them out to be. They're not fashion accessories...they're the descendents of sled dogs (I think). So as odd as it sounds, I can imagine a wrathful Pomeranian.

what part did you use the Corel painter on? What version? it looks awesome ^^

I did most of it in Painter. The way I typically work is: sketch on paper with ballpoint or pencil, scan in, lay in flat colors in Photoshop, do the actual painting/shading parts in Painter, and then do touchups (color adjustments, cropping, textures, etc.) in Photoshop.

Hehe, you should slap a note on your portfolio that says something to the effect of how Sambu's blood-thirsty minions would be glad to further illustrate the meaning of sin "wrath" if you're not given an "A".
