For some reason I feel this is my least favorite of the dwarf pieces. I think the cannon texture ain't quite working, and I hate all black and white for paintings. My life is a reck now. I have to paint two more of these along with my classes and the crapload of homework, and my two shit jobs. Eckhh eckhhhhhhh eckhhhhhhh This isn't the life I imagined sitting on palanquins with servants attending to me.

why did the guy want grey scale? any particular reason, like printing cheaper?

That could be why although he didn't really specify. His inspiration comes from the Warhammer games which have a lot of black and white illustrations.

Ya I'm on my thesis but my two classes this semester are electives for Directed Study Credit.

are you taking the electives as classes or having a one on one advisor? i had my first meeting with gary last week, i assume it went well, but i have alot to work on ^^ i realized that i have a hard time talking about my ideas for some reason

so was he planning a card game with the images, you said?

Ya as classes. I really needed to improve my drawing and painting skills this semester as it will help with digital work.
It should be fun for you this semester. Is the storyline for your graphic novel continuing the Black Prince? or something new. I think you've told me before but I forget. When you get around to completing a page I'd like to offer my crits if you are posting to Deviant. Gary will offer good criticism. Thats what he does. Then you can also do a graphic novel for your anatomy class semester project, just make sure it has anatomy in it. Like big biceps on your warrior women.

Its supposed to be a board game actually, called "Legends of Strength and Sorcery". Everything has worked out well with payments and such. He approves an illustration and then money appears in my paypal account. I'm assuming that most publisher/artist situations don't often go so smoothly, but its hard to know when you are a little runt in the commercial art industry.

So I think there is going to be another Star Trek movie continuing off from this latest one. The franchise must continue or I won't have much to live for beyond the release of Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. Not sure if Bethesda is making another Elder Scrolls. Anyway they better get the Romulans right next time if they are using them as villains.

heh heh improvement is always a good thing! i learned more in an hour lecture from my anim char design prof than i did all summer from mark XD i love that class :3 i feel like i can sketch and experiment and learn! i like to change the model into fat women. i call them my dimples XD

my thesis is still up in the air XD it will be decided when i get there. the story so far is Lynn is the pilot of a mola driven airship (lol) and she and her passenger Ladislas (lazlo) crash in a forest. so ends page 4 :3 i figure i'd start with gary cause i know he focuses so much on story (i'm plot based and he's character based so it works) and i didn't want to acclimate to someone new just starting out. but i will get different opinions as the semesters go by ^^

i am resubmitting my anatomy final with some tweaks so i can do less work in the long run :3 i get to do character turnarounds so it'll at least be useful ^^

is the game going to be published eventually? XD cause that would be awesome :3

there has to be another movie and if they don't get the romulans right i won't go to see it. ^^ the isotope guy finally got me the nero#2 comic *i don't like the artist, but i'm a sucker for the gratuitous toplessness nero had in the first one :}* i wish it would have a manga pace cause i love the little details and there are none :c

lol i can wait for games, i barely have time to keep up with this place as it is! XD
