First page - Maisha Haya | 1-1

Finally! It is done! I’ve fully finished the first chapter of Maisha Haya! I am very proud of this daydream becoming a comic, and I finally figured out what to do for dialogue (woo!) so now everyone can see what I was doing all that time on hiatus.

Maisha Haya -> “This Life” in Swahili

The first page will be uploaded later today, and it will kickoff the prologue of Maisha Haya. This will follow Salimu’s (the red lion with a dark mane) mother, Ayanna, in her cubhood, adolescence and young adulthood.

Ill be uploading twice a week until this chapter is finished, so the comic will be on another hiatus after the first chapter is complete until I finish editing the second chapter and actually drawing it. It’s just me doing this after all

I’d like to bite the bullet now, and say the characters of Maisha Haya aren’t TLK characters or OCs. What collections you put them in doesn’t seem like my business, but I just want to put it out there in case anyone is confused about/wondering what universe they are in.
