OOOOOK! NOW WE'RE GETTING SOMEWHERE!!
yeey! exicted now :3 lol. i think im up to dayyy 5 now (im only counting the days i work on it x33) and i am pretty damn happy with its progress!
soooo here i has finished the snout, the top of head, the back of head and.... omg... THE MOVING JAW WORKSS!! HAZARR!! *dances* xDD although i still have some kinks to kick out with the jaw, it works pretty well
W00T!xP and YES i know i haven't put the hair bit on the top of the head yet, i got impatiant and wanted to make the jaw fisrt xDD lol. also i know in the bottom three pics here look like the ears are slanted, well.. ITS A LIE! they're perfect on it, i just tilted it on the maniquen head a bit off.. oops!
i love the ears....... yush ears are fun :3

aha no templates used, well none you'd find online anywho ^^ i had to make it myself based on the shape of the head- they're not something that can be used for anything im afraid. it will only fit the fursuit head i have make for it

what materials did you use? great job! is really gonna look like a vulpix when you get the hair on top there! im gonna make a vulpix fursuit soon

thanks for the interest ^^ i used High density foam, hot glue (glue gun), a Balaclava for the base aand from this phot, thats all i used here x3 and thanks very much! and Vulpix is supah kute

oh right xDD lol this is my first fursuit so prob wont be perfect in the end but so far, so good xPP
there are plenty of tutorials out on the net if you need tips or help, thats how i managed to get this far lol. but still, if you want i could help you a little if you wish, just feel free to ask me ^^

I'm not sure...I was thinking about the baclava, but the foam head I have would need some serious padding to be the right size. So I'm kind of afraid that I'll accidentally make the wrong size. @_@

oh right, well with the balaclava it fits snuggly around your head comfortably and it can be streched to your size easily :3 and adding the foam on top is fairly straight forward too. oh and it reeeeeeally helps if you use a manaque head x3

yeah, they're really comfy ^^ . i got mine from a camping shop called Millets. but your from America right? so im not sure if you have that shop there, if not any good sport shop should have some ^^

yup, im machine sewing the body suit but im glueing the fabric onto the foam by the seams, cosim not confident enough to sew the whoole pattern for the head and feet D:
but atm i can't carry on with my fursuit cos i need the fabric now DD: i should of bought it sooner... and i can't find the right stuff to use for it either ;-; waah! its so fustraiting, cos i can't continue with it without the fabric ;-;

I used glue on my last fursuit for the head and padding, so I think I might try hand sewing...we'll see. XD That'll make it a lot harder.
Can you order fabric online? The place I got mine from is reaaaaaally soft. <3

hmm yeah guess i could, i'd need to ask for a sample though the post first if i do, cos you just can't be too sure with the colour charts online or the descriptions silly moos can get it wrong sometimes xD

Yup, I got my fur at distinctivefabric.com, and I would definitely ask for a sample. My fur was way darker than I thought it would be...but Golduck isn't a popular Pokemon, so I don't think anyone will point and say "Ahh! Golduck is lighter in the game/anime!"
