Description Lions at Amboseli National Park, Kenya

There were four of them, fairly close to the roadside, two females and two (young) males. I'm telling you, they were just adorable! I took loooooooooooooooads of pictures, but I'll only upload a few here, though I think they're all great XD I particularly like this one, because, as one of my friends pointed out, you can see a silhouette of a cat between the two of them if you look close enough. Kinda cool, huh?

Anyways, seeing these lions groom and play with one another is up there on my top best moments in Africa...I love lions

Brilliant of your friend to spot the cat shape! I could picture this cropped portrait (as opposed to landscape) with just the two lions' heads and the cat shape, and calling it "The Three Cats". If you had a high enough resolution shot I bet it would sell fantastically as a print!

That would have been a fantastic idea! Unfortunately, my camera only has two mega pixels, so the cropping would probably be pixelated....ah, to have a Nikon D50, wouldn't that have been swell?

In a little place called Marquette, Michigan. ^_^ Every year they host a wild animal thing and they bring in a lion cub for people to get their pictures taken with. I did it twice while I lived there. ^^
