It was 3 o'clock when the a little blue hedgehog, Sonic was name, ran inside his house with bruises and some scrapes on his face. He ran up to his adopted mother, Beatrice, slingshot in hand.Sonic: Mama Bea! I'm home!
Bea: Sonic Ogilvie Maurice Hedgehog! What on Mobius happened to you?
Sonic: I was'a shootin' stuff with my slingshot and I kept trippin' on tree roots and hurt m' face! It was totally wicked!
Bea: Oh, my poor baby!
Sonic: It was totally bonkers! But at least I shot a squirrel! It looked all funny when it fell out of th' tree! Heehee!
Bea: Sonic, you need to be more careful! You could break your nose or lose a tooth falling on your face like that!
Sonic: Oh, yeah! Almost forgot! *He dug into his pocket and pulled out a tooth.* Lookie!
Bea: Oh my goodness! You DID lose a tooth!
Sonic: Mama Bea! This is the one that was already loose!
Bea: Oh, thank Heavens...
Beatrice got up and patched up Sonic's face.

Beatrice kissed Sonic's head and the hedgehog giggled childishly with happiness.
