I finally finished the painting for day 4 of @hurt-noct-week (Noct exits the Crystal still 20 years old) and now I can post it for the free day! 20 y/o timeskip Noctis is one of my favorite AU ideas, especially because of the angst. Surrounding the guys, they’ve grown where he hasn’t (whether his mind aged or not depends on the AU but for Maximum Angst™ here, let’s say he never saw time pass), & Prompto is usually the prime suspect for sadness. But I wanted to look at how Ardyn would gloat over it– twice now the gods’ favorite Lucis Caelum has wrecked their prophecy, whether on purpose or not. Noctis might not be immortal, but Eos won’t survive another decade of darkness and her savior is still a shocked, unsure little prince– lovely.
White hair Noctis because I like the idea of him taking in lots of holy power but his body not processing it right, so he gets white hair!! and also it helps him stand out against the dark background lol
also rip your screens, this was a 5000x5000 pixel image and while I resized it, it will probably still have trouble :’‘) I’m sorry!

Edit 3/10/18 Painted his hair over his eyebrows. Originally I felt that doing that would lose clarity, but looking back on it a few days later I realized how funny it looked with his eyebrows over his hair :'''')
