First sketch for an idea I've got. What I'm thinking is that some dude's going to sit like this in front of a TV, as a topless girl stretches out of the TV towards him and is about to kiss him. The guy will probably be chained to the chair somehow, as if he's forced to watch this "interactive" porn thing. This of course is just a very quick, badly done sketch. The end result will hopefully be really neat. The biggest problem will be to get someone with big breasts to pose for this.This will be only one of several pictures in a series that is meant to show various aspects of being human. All images will be done in the same style with the burnt out, white background. The final series will eventually be on some wall at school, with a CD or MD player underneath each image, with a somewhat fitting soundtrack. For this image I'm thinking Vangelis' "One More Kiss Dear" from the Blade Runner ST. The lyrics don't fit all that well, but the sound of it fits in my opinion.
I'm very interested in any ideas people may have, so I figured I'd put this in my gallery instead of in scraps.

I agree that the guy needs to be 'rooted' to the chair in some way, but chains are a bit overused. Maybe he could be bolted into it, the bolts stretching the fabric of his clothes, skin, or something else entirely. Just throwing stuff out there. Having the body fade into the chair seems a little complicated and over done, I don't think it would be as realistic as having something hold him in. Does the girl have to be topless? Could a bikini do? Nudity might distract from the over all image particularly for the male viewers

Ok I tried submitting another comment and it was a good one, and deviantART didn't register it for some reason. Either way the basics of it was great idea, keep working with it, and maybe you could have the guy rooted to something deeper than just the chair, maybe have him wear 3D goggles, though overused, they're easily recognizable. Also, the idea that people want to express their lust but then throw it away as though it is something unatural or distastful. Even if it is, the idea that people seperate these parts of themselves, the real and artificial is something that I think you've touched on. Anyways, great work so far, I'd love it if you could help me with some of my ideas. I'm not good, but I could use the help to get better. Hope this helps, and if I said anything stupid, disregard it. I think what you're doing is an excellent idea. I like the song you picked out too, the other song that I could suggest would be something like Smashing Pumpkins - Pug. But that's just an opinion from a fan. Either way the sketch is a good idea, and like you said the hard part will be finding the "boobs" jk, anyways, I think it's a good idea of having him chained...or maybe grounded in some other way, don't know how, maybe his body is part of something else or fades into something else, rooted, don't know just shuffling ideas around to help you out hopefully. The girl could be more "staticy" though, but also I know this obviously isn't the finished product. Maybe the guy could be wearing 3D glasses, though that's somewhat overused, but still, it's easily recognizable. Or maybe you could use something of the nature of the artificial lust vs. morality. The idea that your subject, like most people wants gratification yet, seperation. I know myself and most people, want something of that, and that goes, I think, for some of the less tasteful parts of our lives, though funny that no one likes to recognize it, yet here you're trying to show us it's part of us all. Well that's it, maybe I'm just being artsy fartsy, if anything I said is bunk just disregard it. It'd be cool if you could help me with some of my pieces, or maybe an idea I've had.
