very well accomplished, the tear how ever.. well dunno, if I was sad and wasn't crying, i wouldn't like anyone to put tears on my face, but thats just me though.
still darn good job here and i'm also surprised not to see more works like this in DA

I agree with ~rupa, the manipulation is fantastic, and the message of the picture, damn, there's no need for all those words, the expression is perfect, it speaks by itself!

I don't see pictures like this for a long time ago, since East Timor when everyone talked about it... now? .. nothing...

this really deserve a fav

congrats, it's awesome

I like the collage and the message you're giving, but the composition concerns me slightly. I find it too open on the left with the large area of bare wall, especially in balance with the crowded half-face on the right. Cropping the left might help a bit to balance it out. Also, the CG tear on the child's face is a little over-the-top. I believe that it would be more effective if you had made it smaller and less noticible. It would probably fall on the "nose" side of the eye too. Good effort though!

excellent work my friend. The composition is very inviting, it could be a professional spot about the children in angola, a problem that seems to have no end.

strange that you don't see things like this more often here on DA. people usually use art as such a personal outlet, i know, but i honestly have never seen anything with this sort of theme here before. anyway, this is very nicely done, i really like the subtle coloring. the photos you used are very fitting for what you're trying to convey. i think the airbrushed teardrop looks nice, but is rather unnecessary....and also, you have a couple mistakes in your wording....'where in each 3 borns', '200 human are dying...' come to think of it the words themselves aren't really necessary either...the images speak for themselves for the most part, the words detract i think. sorry for all the criticism! this is honestly a very beautiful piece, i just think it could be better...
