well, like, let's take furries for instance. they rely on animals to make characters, and sometimes they make good chars, but most of the time you get the same old generic sparkledog bullshit.
with you, it's always different, and people VERY RARELY work with insects and can make characters as well as you, considering they all seem to have their own personalities and obviously they aren't generic OR boring. of course i know not all of your characters are insects but it was really just an example i suppose
