If you thought that sending off my tablet to the foreign lands of wacom support was gonna stop my from making you a birthday present then you thought wrong.

This was a wild ride of me not really knowing what I was doing from start to finish but it's finished and that's what counts. And I finished it on time for your Birthday!! Look at me being timely!! The background is watercolor pencils and fountain pen ink. I wasn't really wild about water colored pencils after the background so I switched over to fountain pen ink mostly for Bay and the mountains! I got the idea because I use fountain pens to take notes during lectures because I don't like typing them but professors usually move too fast for my poor wrist to keep up with using normal pencils. Unfortunately my fountain pens use water based ink so I've had the unfortunate experience of spilling water on my notes and washing them melt away. But I figured, HEY I could paint with that. My fountain pens that I have with my are disposable so I don't actually have a thing of ink so painting this involved me dripping ink from my pen onto a brush haha.

ANYWAY Happy Birthday to dare I say, one of the most brilliant, sweet, and talented people, baying . You take the time to always write sweet and thoughful comments, even when your mouth has a gaping hole in it; you make such unique designs and always go the extra mile to give them personalities and lives, you bring them to life. Your art is some of the most unique on here, I am so happy and honored to call your my friend, and I sincerely wish you a fantastic birthday, because you deserve nothing less. Thank you for putting up with my puns, and even making a few yourself.

I need to work on backgrounds in traditional art but I'm still happy to see there's improvement even across mediums!
