Wow, I need to not reply on my phone because apparently the comments I type just don't go through; thought I replied to this a week ago! Yeah, I'm going in order, which I think is part of what's making the Asgard ep so grueling for me XD If it wasn't standing in the way of the Poseidon and Hades arc I really wanna see, I probably wouldn't mind as much, lol. I'm excited to get to those!

I hope so XD I've watched the first...five? battles and they've just been so predictable and boring. And...useless? I think what really bothers me is the fact none of these characters deserve to die; I know they're stubborn and all but does that really justify killing them? So giving us a Depressing Backstory for each one seems kind of pointless in the end if none of them actually get to live, lol :T IDK, I'll be looking forward to the last eps if you say so.

well, that's the main reason why the Asgard saga is so popular in the fandom, the god warriros actually have a backstory, unlike most characters in the series that u hardly get any details on their backround...

and yes, it is a little sad, but I guess that it can't be helped, no?

Yeah but whats the point of showing us how sad and pitiable these characters are via backstory if none of them are then redeemed because of it? To me that's as bad as having no background. I'm not saying they all needed to live, but it would have been nice if like...one had...

It COULD have been helped, if these dudes actually talked their issues out rather than like giving it one attempt, and then 'oh well I guess there's no time I'll have to kill him' Or, I don't know, knock him out and take his jewel? Do you have to actually end his life? XD IDK it just makes the Bronze Saints seem like bad guys to me when these are genuinely good people they're taking out. But I felt sort of the same way in the Sanctuary arc, though at least half the characters that died there were ones who deserved to.

well, it is a shonen series, so its not like they're gonna go freud on us, right?

There's this ONE scene by the end of one fight, that in my head canon I understand as that there's one survivor

for the jewel, I think its implied that they cannot be stolen and in order to get them the warrior needs to die...

and for the Goldies, I can only think of Deathmask, Aphrodite is arguable... so yeah

Yeah, fair enough. And I agree that being that sort of genre, I shouldn't get my expectations up too high (though I still can't stop myself from stumbling over the logic sometimes) XD Enjoy it for what it is, etc... and I do, I'm not like seriously complaining here or anything, just minor gripes.

To be honest, I think I'm just bitter because I shipped Hagen and Freya a lot and was pissed he personally didn't get to live XD I stopped letting myself getting invested in other characters in the arc after that, lol
