I really like the perspective on this shot, really captures a rainy winter day in the city.

i love everything about this shot. the perspective, the rain drops on the lens, the color contrast between the building and the sky, and...well, everything very lovely work.

There's a sense of... vertigo, perhaps?

Very pretty shot, and quite moody I have to say. In a good way of course

Hello,

I began shooting a few years ago with a D70, which got replaced by a D200, which in turn got replaced by a 5D.

I kept a lot of my Nikon glass because they meter just fine with my Canon bodies, even when using TTL flash, and also because in some cases the Canon equivalent is 2X more expensive and not any better, as is the case with their 14mm lens.

I'm a big fan of manual focusing, so it makes a lot of sense to use these MF Nikkors on the 5D, which has interchangeable focusing screens that make MF focus a breeze. It is ironic that these MF Nikkors perform best on a digital Canon EOS body. The D200 and D2x outresolve these lenses and don't give you the entire view.
