Finally have some nice photos of me in my new Maka wig~~It was hot AND a little breezy the day I wore this costume at Fanime. Not a fun combo. .___.

Is your Maka wig half in a pig tail and then the rest cut short? I am trying to style my friends Maka wig, I think you know her, her name is Julia. So I got the same wig as you and it has soo many short wefts so I can't do the normal pigtail way. But I wanted the pigtails to not just pop out of the sides and it looks like yours is a real little pigtail. Thanks.

Yup! I took chunks and put them into pigtails and then trimmed the back short so it doesn't show. Here's the back: [link]

They get a little fluffy so I just spray them down with hairspray. It seems to be okay? I never really get pics from the back so I am not sure if it looks odd when I am actually wearing the wig. XD

Yeah I'd trim the sides a bit! I was kind of freaking out after I cut mine but once I sprayed it down a bit, it looked much better. So I'd say trim the sides, like you said, and then spray it down and see how it looks.
