I´m been so lazy again with everything, so thought to upload a bad picture of one of my WIP-paintings... This one´s been lying around for a while now, hope I get myself to finish it some time.Painted with oil.

Oh my God, it must look amazing in reality.
I'll be starting my own adventurrr with oils soon and it's really inspiring to see somebody who can achieve so much painting this way ^^

I'm a mediocre painter, and I'm hesitant to begin using oils. People who are good tend to gravitate towards oil. In your opinion would it be a good idea to start?

Well, as far as I see you´re pretty good with acrylicks already so maybe you should give oils a try too. They´re a bit more work with taking longer to dry up and some painting liquids needed, but there´s some stuff you can do with them that doesn´t work with acrylick... or atleast I couldn´t. Never really got a hang of acrylick myself though.

People say one of the main differences is drying time. Does that mean I can keep editing it for a while? Instead of having to work fast like I do with acrylics.

It depends of the liquid that you use and how much of it, but yeah, that´s the main difference that you can work with wet paint longer. Also working on it after it´s dried out is easier too because it won´t come off as easily even if you add wet paint on it.
