Questions.
Did you add the old man into the shot? An is this a gray building?
From 'far' way it looks like a b&w hot, but when I got closer, I realized that it wasn't.

I just desaturated the whole shot at 20%

I divide photography and photo-manipulation as two different worlds. so this is photography.
I tried to convert it into b&w and I didn't like it.
