Description Have a terrible pun, to celebrate a day themed around a terrible pun! May the Fourth be with you all!

Time taken - about 1.5 hours, in the space I had free after getting home from work this evening. This one will have the joy of being made into a fridge magnet (hopefully) to see how viable that is. He's about 7cm tall.

This is wonderful Squanpie. It has the look of a sepia photograph in it's details, I have forgotten the little Bloke's name but who could forget the little guy and his interactions with Princess Leia.

LOL I just watched Rogue One last night and really enjoyed it. Although the computer CGI Leia looked a bit wonky and fake sadly at the end of the film.

I think that's the fun with pyrography; the brown tones, with their sepia feel, really suit old fashioned or natural concepts. I believe this little guy was called Wicket.

Rogue One was a lot of fun! I think they struck a good balance, and it was nice to see some Star Wars that didn't have such black and white morality. I'd agree about Leia there. It was a lot of fun to have that direct connection to the start of the 'next' (setting chronology) film, but a shame they couldn't have found a way to get around that. I guess given the age of the original footage, even if they used a collage of the original Leia actions from the opening of IV, you'd still have that plasticy touched up feeling. Still, overall it was a pretty enjoyable film!

That's his name... Wicket!!!!!!!

And yes, I don't think they really could have used any of the original footage from IV (the first and original star wars movie) Yet I felt whoever did the CGI Tarkin did a far better job with him then what they came up with for Leia. But Rogue One was a very good movie, sad that none of the heroes survived, I had been rooting for the girl.

I guess we knew that none of them could survive. Still, I agree - it it was sad!

And that's true - I forget about Tarkin, probably because he was so well done. I think that was my favourite moment in the film actually; when you first see him and recognise him even before he turns round...
