In class I was asked how I created the shadows in my piece Curse of the Dust Devil...

So I created this tutorial! Hopefully it will be helpful to my fellow deviants as well.

If you can't get the effect you're looking for this way, you can also use the warp tool on the shadow to have more control. You can access that tool by going to Edit, Transform, and select warp from the menu.
