This piece is kind of a homage to my roots. My first introduction to Takashi Murakami and the Super Flat style were in Spin Magazine in something like 1998, and he was a huge influence on how my style would develop. He's only become more and more iconic since that time.
I feel so much nostalgia and joy when I see echoes of this style in media from cloud rappers like Dekko and Itsoktocry, and other re-interpretations of the aesthetic.
So this is just a rendition of my character Squeekie with that kinda vibe.
I'm probably going to use this image in some video experiments coming up.
