Yes, that's right. I, Squizzlenut, the girl you all revere, draw Star Trek chibis in my spare time.This is actually for my summer project, each one is on a single page (I shrank them considerably). I thought I'd draw my favourite character from each series, except DS9 because I didn't like it. So here we have:
The Original Series: Spock! Because he is super-special-awesome. He just is.
The Next Generation: Data, because he looks so confused all the time, it's unbelievably cute! His twitchy movements are also cute, every time he does that confused little head twitch thousands of viewers squeal in delight.
Voyager: Harry Kim, because he is a male damsel in distress and his hair is AMAZING. Really, I'd steal his hair if it weren't attached to his head. If they were back on earth he'd get ALL the girls (and if he wasn't engaged).
Enterprise: Malcolm Reed, because he is british. Nay, I jest, it's because he's squeezable! Seriously, he's shy (especially around women), his health is distinctly fragile (he's allergic to lots of things and holds the dubious honour of being the only person ever to catch a common cold in SPACE), he's aquaphobic, and his interests include bombs, explosions, weapons and general pyrotechnic DESTRUCTION! Good, ne?
Project theme: summer holiday
Connection: I watch lots of Star Trek repeats in the summer holidays due to my not being able to go outside.

I haven't watched any Enterprise, but those three are my favorite characters on their series. Harry Kim is competing with the Doctor and Tuvok, but he IS cool.

i was thinking all probably watch Voyager and Deep Space 9 since i've seen a few eps. from them and i like them okay. i saw a couple from NG and i just didn't like it that much

This picture makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. When I was little, I watched Star Trek with my dad, so I grew up wanting to be like Captain Janeway. She and B'Elanna were my favorite characters back then, but when I started watching Enterprise, I fell in love with Lt. Reed.
But back to Voyager, I didn't think too much of Tom or Harry or Seven when I was little. I had a huge nine year old crush on Chakotay, even though he's half on my sh*t list now. I think it was mostly from feeling of repressed nine year old anger at Endgame. I just have bad luck with series finales. (Yes, even back to my toddler years, I was a shipper. Endgame wasn't fair.)
But seriously, this drawing encompasses my current warm and fuzzy eye candy from Star Trek. It makes my day.

I'm happy you like it so much! I don't think I've ever been a 'shipper', so I must confess I never found any of it unfair, per se. I just got into Star Trek because both my parents and my big sister used to watch it and in the summer it's the only halfway decent thing on TV. XD

Klingons don't really chibify very well, and they're far from my favourite characters. Plus, I'd feel bad drawing them all small and cute, it would strip them of all their dignity! Thanks for the fave.
