Done and re-done... I had this whole color scheme where all of it was painted in pink, except the spot where the sun reaches her face-- could not make that work, and ended up doing this instead. Thanks for taking a look!

I tried to make this work all in pink, with the sun on her face being the only anomaly; it just wouldn't cohere that way, so I started all over again, with the sun's presence being the entire context, and the pinks and purples of my friend being the anomaly... Some day, I'll try again to make a coherent piece using mostly pinks and white, but for now, this represents my friend (who loves the sun as much as I love the rain) more accurately than my original intentions ever could have...

A painting in pinks & white would be fabulous, I know one day inspiration will hit and it will come to life the way it was meant to be

Thanks very much, man; this thing changed colors more than once-- the original idea was to have it all pink, with the one splash of raw yellow light on her face; it just never looked right that way, so I ended up going in almost the opposite direction. Thanks for looking!
