I used the marker tool to draw where I wanted the color and then left various spaces untouched to give the illusion of shine, it's the same type of way I'd shade hair when I work traditionally.

I remember you told me that you learned how to draw by trying to recreate the style of other mangaka. Which works/characters did you learn from? How/What do you suggest for me to use to persevere? Sometimes I get tired and discouraged because it looks hard, especially trying to recreate Arina Tanemura's style. Q-Q

I watched videos of Mark Crilley's and tried to draw like that but eventually I just went on my own and went through trial and error in order to get my style to where it is now ;o;
