Tenth picture of my little 'Christmas Render Advent Calender' 'Event'.
Once again a render made with rather little time. Still kind of enjoy it though.Β

December 2017 Advent-CalendarHey hey you sweet juice-sacks.
Being spontaneous as always I've decided to do a little 'advent calendar' upload this month. Since that means I'll be rendering one picture every day, the resolution of those will be limited to 1920x1080.
I simply wouldn't have time to do 24 images otherwise, given that big and high resolution ones often take half a day to render.Β
That said, I do hope you'll enjoy those little tidbits and have a wonderful christmas month.
PS: I might try some things with materials on those images here and there. Also, bear with me: they probably won't have a background- other than a simple backdrop etc.
If you want to see someone specific, please let me know and I'll try to incooperate that (OCs are probably not doable there - I hope you understand!).
That said: these pictures won't be super big resolution, since I'll be doing one daily and it'd take too much render-time otherwise. I hope you understand?
Also: Hopefully you like those little tidbits. They'll be more in a pin-up style than anything else and mostly with a simpler background.

God how do you get the textures to pop??? and it's so sharp and clean!!!! ;-; I have darker mine to hide mistakes on the mesh or blur It. I don't know how to fix it so mine just come out looking like crap....
Been watching a ton of Blender Guru videos and photoshop tuts but not finding what I need lol.
Anyways wonderful job as always, I really love your work and can't wait to see the rest of Christmas stuff. ^^

It's a micro-bumpmap. You connect it via Image Texture > Color MixRBG > Displacement at the material output.
I always do that. So I have two normals (Bumps) on the model.Β

BUT that said: The fabric is solely done in Blender. Nothing added in photoshop.Β
I did add, however, micro-bumps to that one. If you mean.. the fabric-texture itself?

Yep, that is exactly what I meant. The bumpsΒ map. It's very good overlay of 2 normals.
