lol I feel like all but Fennekin should be male pokemon. I can also imagine their human-like personalities:
Chespin would be the loud and obnoxious leader who would be very enthusiastic and optimistic about everything. I can also see him as a little bit of a daredevil and likes to try new things.
Froakie would be the clumsy and timid boy who is also "the nerd" of the group. I can also see him being socially awkward yet very bright when it comes to academics of pokemon.
Fennekin would be the alluring and witty female of the group, she would also be somewhat sarcastic or somewhat skeptical of Chespin's shenanigans.

of course there's hype. a new adventure, new pokemon, new locations. it's kinda like playing the original red and blue as kids again. i'm actually trying to stay as much in the dark as possible to make the experience that more magical.

I'm going to get a Chespin! It looks like it could be a potential Ground-type, which means it could possibly hold its own against both of the other two starters when it evolves.
