During an undocumented FireRed nuzlocke, I encountered a shiny gastly. Luckilly, I had the shiny clause in my rules. His name was Doliolida. Even though I didn't have the stuff to evolve him into a gengar, he managed to stay a useful part of the team for basically the whole game. He was killed by a wild wobbuffet in Cerulean Cave as I was on my way to fight mewtwo.
