Name: Kanna (Kahn- nuh)
Age: late teens
Sex: Mare
Breed: Lippizan mix
Personality: Kanna tends to be more reserved than most. She is extremely intelligent and wise, but also struggles with anger. She is prone to mood swings, however is quick to apologize afterward. She is quiet and sometimes shy around others, preferring the company of small animals to other equines. She has a love of caring for the injured and wounded, and spends most of her time roaming mountains in search of an animal to nurse back to health.

History: Kanna was born into a luxurious world of wealth and riches; her father reigned as king over a large lucrative land. She had many servants to bring her what ever she wanted at the ring of a bell, and was well educated and beautiful. She rarely saw her parents, for she was taken care of by nannies. And when she was young, she heard news that her mother had been executed by her father because he found a one prettier than she. The new wife was beautiful and cruel, and when she bore a son, Kanna was nearly forgotten about and left to more of less fend for herself. Finally she was fed up with her life and ran away one night. She made it to a large slum town in a another kingdom, where she was unable to escape for several years. These were very dark years for her, and this was when she discovered her power of light. To this day she doesn't understand how she has it. But with it, she managed to escape and stowed away in the mountains. She fell in love with the vast untamable beauty of the wild mountains, and it has become her sanctuary of peace.

Power: In times of darkness, Kanna has a gift of intense light that engulfs her entire body. though it technically does not harm and cannot kill, it will cause permanent blindness to whoever sees it. She can only access it in times of need, but she regularly has a soft dim yellow glow around her.
