Third of the series of concept sketches for some comissions.Like the rest done with an Ebony pencil on board very loosely.

Great done! One question I have, what are the crosses on her cloth? Jedi are not a Templar. Is's a big difference.

Thanks! The crosses are meant to represent her as a medic not so much as a Jedi. The way I drew them is a bit wonky and that's where the confusion comes from. Some folks thought she was Rogue from the X-Men as a Jedi...which might not be that bad of an idea.

She was playing a Jedi Diplomat.. but her target at the time wasn't being fooled... so she jiggled her er... Assests at the GM... needless to say.. she got what she set out for

I did discover one thing, the original Sith were not evil, they were a Race of Force users who could express emotions without loosing control.
Humans that had Force talents became their students.. but became corrupt with power... an you know the rest.. these guys later took the name 'Sith'

hehe.. for the SW table top RPG, I started a character that found the 'Old Ooold ways' and tried to follow them... imagine our other Jedi trying to constrantly correct my character with the 'Propper way.'
The GM really enjoyed running that game a lot.

S'okay, I can see what you mean. The outfit and style lend itself for easy confusion and you're not the first to make that observation. After all Rogue is one of my fave X-People!

what also made me think that was the hair, the top of it looked a bit white next to the darker lower bits, have to say I love the way you draw lips.

Well a "Bus" is a modern form of transport that carriers multiple people to a destination.
It's also what my brother-in-law thought was the actual name of the movie SPEED with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.
Now "BWS" is old penciller shorthand that may or may not still be in use today. It's stands for Black With Stars and this is used either to remind the penciller that they need to draw a starfield or starscape or whatever in the place marked with BWS or to let the inker know that the job of drawing this is falling to them.

Nice work! I like the design of the outfit a lot. It's rare that you tend to do so much gear on your outfits--they're usually fairly sleek. The pose is a little idiosyncratic, but it gets the job done.

Thanks, I knew the pose was funky but it's where the pencil ultimately lead me. (No pun intended) As for the outfits, yeah I tend to favor the sleeker look myself but there's a certain charm to clutter and I'm a nut for drawing all the little buttons and straps so I try to stay away from that so that I can actually keep my lateness on deadlines to a minimun.

Hey, I give you points for just going off the usual--I feel completely all at sea when I try a new pose. I think the sleek style actually works all things considered (I've never felt like you under-designed an outfit) but this was a nice departure for you--you sure do the gear well.

BWS= Black With Stars. This is shorthand to let the inker know that the penciller is way too lazy to draw the stars and such so it's up to them. I used it here to remind me that I have to put in a starscape and some cosmic gas floating around behind the Jedi and the planets.
