I shall sum up my feelings about finishing this with the following emotes: .....

Ordinarily I wouldn't put the disclaimers at the top and bottom of this Author's Note, but a lot of work went in to this.

Okay, so, this is what my Fearsome Five raw sketch dump was preparing me for, found here: [link]

This was drawn on 11x17 paper, because Negaduck "wasn't going to share space with these idiots on anything smaller." The drawing was scanned in three parts and stuck together. This is the first time I've used a soft opacity brush, texture, or gradient. I had to shade a different way from my usual style so that the characters would pop out without looking weird; Disney characters have no shading unless there's a strong light source.

Liquidator turned out the best, I think. He was the easiest one to draw and color. I have a critical eye for how the other four turned out, but for the first time of giving these guys a proper drawing I'm not going to be too hard on myself. There is another version with an orange background too, but I settled for posting the version on black.

And the final test? Negaduck is extremely satisfied, although he insists he should look "more evil." The other guys are happy too. What do you think?
