So here's a canvas painting I did in art class of Lava flowing into the ocean! Although this was in the same art class as I did the horse paintings and the tree painting (both of which you can find here):www.deviantart.com/stardust-le…

Unlike all those paintings though, which used the National Geographic book "Stunning Photographs" for reference, I used another picture.
Anyway, unlike the other paintings this only took two classes to finish! o3o My art teacher liked how abstract it was, and said she could see a creature head, which I could also see now XD

I really like it, the lava glows richly, the cold sky harsh, the rushing water, very lovely use of the colours. The brush strokes are also a lovely touch, especially to the rocks.

Stunning! It´s really great how you drew lava, it looks very natural and seems to be really flowing from top down. Also, the colouring of lava is great, you chose the coloours very well and combined them greatly to make the impression of something hot and liquid. Overall, it´s a very good painting.
