A bit of history:
Fighter Squadron 1 (VF-1) was a fighter squadron of the United States Navy. Known as the "Wolfpack" the squadron saw combat during World War II, the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. The squadron was de-activated and its personnel reassigned in 1993 when its carrier, the USS Ranger (CV-61), was decommissioned

In my alternate universe, VF-1 is re-commission into VFA-01 (1st Naval Strike Fighter Attack Squadron).

The F/A-45N is a custom design of the Indonesian IFX-45R Advanced Aquila [link] for United States Navy's Carrier Based Strike (Stealth) Fighter.

The aircraft's landing gear and arrested hook has been modified for use of frequent carrier landing and magnetic catapult launcher.
