Memories are as fickle as fireflies. One second they're so close you can reach them, but then the next they're out of your sight...
Sad Waffle time!
I wanted to experiment with a different shading style and try out different backgrounds.
I think it looks okay! I'm not 100% satisfied with the background (particularly the mountains), but eh.
The first thing that came to mind was my boi reminiscing over his memories.
As mean as this sounds, I actually kinda enjoy drawing a more vulnerable and sensitive expression with Waffle since he is usually quite stand-offish and cold and that's how I usually draw him.
