Although it's more about the tragedy that is my baby Subaru but Kamui came up a lot during it all.
I'm considering marathoning the anime or rereading my copy of the manga again.
I need a resolution for this series so bad.

I literally saw the movie so many times as a kid, and never got into the anime and manga until now because I already loved Kamui so much and the story killed me. I cried so hard every time I watched it. Finally i allowed myself and I can't stop!!!

I've got a love-hate relationship with the movie version.
Partly because they off my two favorite chatacters in line the first 5 minutes. But seeing that the SeiSub subplot is so confusing even to us fans before i can understand.
But definitely all the hate for axe crazy kusaragi. I know the movie came out before the manga was finished running, bu t I'm pretty sure the single scene he had in the manga then supported the "loving of all things nature"

The movie came out when the manga was still running and during that time Subaru kind of....
Well, he pretty much told the other dragons on heaven that he wasn't going to fight, and then less than a week later he's on his way to Tokyo amyways to help them out. Then he gets in a fight with Fuuma and looses an eye. I don't think he had the Backstory chapters yet haha
And yeah, still unfinished. It's frustrating

Yeah cuz I watched the anime and I got it so far. And that Sei's final wish was for any mark on subaru from fuuma to disappear, so he gave subaru sei's good eye to make up for the eye he blinded as one of his minor wishes.
I.... just looked into subaru to learn the last part, since I haven't gotten that far yet ahahaaaaa //shot

Aaaah. Yeah. You should totally read the manga for tokyo babylon. It will make you sad but less sad than x since at least it ends. Also the tb ova is kind of cute even if it's random

TB and X are by far my favorite CLAMP works (xxxholic and TRC are probably after but they're still pretty far down on my list of favorite series). I saw an old 30 day CLAMP meme on tumblr and was just thinking about my answers - i was kind of upset that i would pick x/tb characters for the vast majority of them .3.
