With the personalities I came up for them the red one is aggressive, blue submissive, green assertive, and violet is passive.

Yeah, they're based off of the Dark Links in Oracle of Ages. Their colors came from the flames in the Room of Rites with the exception of the green one as there are only three flames. So we have sorrow (blue), destruction (red), and despair (violet). The green one is different and is the optimist of the group.
