Description
There's nothing on my mind,
but all the forgotten time
we lost along the way.

As time goes on, we see the change.
From kids to adults,
we grow up strong.
And the thing that separates us from that
is the line of things that makes us who we are.

How long until the best of friends go their own ways?
How long until they forget the promises they made each other?
How long until they realize that some friendships can never last?

People change and so do we.
Sometimes it's only a little and
the person you knew is still there.
Other times it's more than a lot.
The friend you once knew
now holds a knife to your back.

It's sad to think some are like that.
They point out you're every flaw
just to make you look bad.
Then the depression sets in and
the paranoia kicks in,
who are you suppose to trust?
A backstabbing friend or your own self worth?

Look towards the future though,
you'll never know what's to come
if you give into the heartache of never feeling loved.
The past is in the past.
Forget their ugly faces and throw away the broken glass.
It's time to leave those forgotten time because
they're forgotten for a reason.
