My headcanon for Princess Platinum.
Princess Platinum was the daughter of the Unicorn King, Blue Dreams (The prince in the love potion story), who was very young and flighty when her father disappeared, leaving her ruler while the Windigoes attacked the kingdom. Her advisor and friend Clever Clover was her babysitter before her father went away, and did most of her work for her, leaving her unprepared for the freezing of her kingdom, forcing the Unicorns to travel to Equestria, where she was dazzled by the beautiful Diamond Mines of the Diamond Dogs, which became her downfall, and after Equestria was Founded, she travelled into the caves and disappeared forever.
