Whoa, what’s this!?

I’ve been working on this for a few months now, and finally the Mane 6 (and Spike) are finished! An updated version of utilizing my Headcanon Markings , or at least, starting off with that idea. With some of them, my designs eventually diverged.

Spike doesn’t have the notes of wing types or horn swirls, markings or even a previous design! I’m only even linking that markings for posterity and to connect it to the other pieces.

This one, I’m really actually quite proud of. Unlike the other designs, even at the time I was unsatisfied with how I drew Spike, so I’m glad I figured out a design for him here.

I gave him chubby little alligator hands because I think they’re adorable, and in general he’s very lizardlike in design.

I also added eyebrows as a callback/call forward to his design as a giant dragon , and to my other designs of him grown up , though I forgot to color match in this case (I may do so in the future).
