Description I headed back down to Bushrangers Bay (see previous submissions from last visit) to take some proper planned shots. I was relatively sure about how the weather was going to be as I had watched the satellite photos pretty much the whole day. The tide was right out and access was good. I headed down there to photograph a big arch that reaches out of the cliff, but with the tide right out I discovered a lot of other features that I also wanted to photograph. So here is the first shot of the first proper trip down to shoot Bushrangers Bay. Let me know what you think.

oh my this phtograph has just such beautiful colors in it it's very serene, makes me want to go visit the tide pools and sit there to just watch the sunset.

how did you capture the vibrant colors in here? did you use a filter or something?

A polarizer would be nice to get rid of reflections on the water, but this is a wonderful panorama. Great colors.

The vertical crop is excellent, and the composition just leads my eyes up through the image. Very nicely done.

I have to say for me, I really like it but there is too much foreground too effectively combine with the sea and sky. I'd crop some from the bottom. Great stitch tho and neat colours

Hey, this would work beautifully as a book-marker. I got a few in Greece this summer - yours is at least as beautiful.

I really like the bottom two thirds! What was the shutter speed? You must have had a polarizer, huh? It's an awesome result you got there.

Good questions. The shot was taken with a 2 second exposure at f-stop 22 and ISO 100. I used a 2-stop graduated ND filter to balance the sky with the darker rocks in the foreground. Didn't use a polarizer. Thanks for your comment.

Aha! a graduated ND filter, nice Interesting, that 2 sec exposure was perfect to smooth out and blur the water surface. It's great how clear it is, that's why I thought a polarizer might've been used. Anyway, thank you very much for your reply, I appreciate that.
