I so rarely do rendering any more. I've been using these great pencil brushes lately and they do a kick ass job making me feel comfortable doing traditional rendering stuff digitally. This was supposed to be a quick thing for a t-shirt test and then I just kept going because it was... pleasant. I dunno. Portraits from photos are easy though. After a while I do most of the rendering from memory. I like to unfocus my eyes so all the values are just blobs and scribble till they look right. Kind of a zen thing I guess.Of all the great horror actors I'll never get to meet, Cushing is the one I'm most sad about.

Yep, 100% digital. The blacks are kind of ball point-y. Still all digi-pencils though.
