Description
This piece is a copper sculpture, approx 750mm x 750mm. It is all hand beaten, but I had to use a TIG to weld the wings to the body. The body is made from 2.5mm sheet and the wings from 1.5mm sheet.Related content

I used Tourmaline, an antiqueing fluid, to darken the copper, then a soft abrasive to take it off all the high points, then Rennaisance wax to seal it.

The texture and patina are amazing!!! It also has really wonderful movement in the form. I wish I had the opportunity to walk around it.
