Description Go on then, tell me it isn't metalwork! Don't care, it is both metalwork and sculpture to me. This is my beloved VF750 trike that I finally got on the road last summer, unfortunately I was only riding it (a little over zealously perhaps!) for about a month before the main bearing in the gearbox decided to explore the rest of the engine with the inevitable result that the engine stoppeed to say hello!
This is the first trike that I have built myself, so hope to ressurect it sometime soonish, but have built another one since which I use every day (pic to follow), but am planning to sell it sometime soon when I have build the next project which is to have two front wheels and one rear.

How much would you sell it for? I may be interested.

Not selling this one, will be selling my current trike [link] . Have a fj900 engine to put in this one to ressurect it, hopefully before the end of the year.

Somewhere around £650-£700. Don't know if it applies over there, but it has original 1970 registration giving it free road tax over here. It also has a bench seat that can be mounted over the rear axle instead of the buck, I just leave the buck on most of the time as it is much more useful for carrying metalwork etc. It does around 44 miles to the gallon and has been pretty well bulletproof for the 14 odd months I have been riding it; I hope to be starting a new project soon though and cannot afford to keep 3 trikes on the road, so it will be up for sale around Novemberish

Definitely go with the reverse-trike, tis a lot safer on the curves! Plus they just plain look cooler

depends on how you ride them, one front wheel can be stable you just need to ride it like you're gonna kill it, this wee beastie can corner as quick as a cbr600, you just gotta have your arse on the floor instead of your knee! It is SO much fun I just can't tell ya!

lol, if you say so Me, I think I'll keep my arse in the seat and let reverse-trike physics help me out in the corners heh. I am too paranoid (and maybe a bit too old) to get crazy on bikes. Good luck with your project, I hope it kicks ass

Really, what do you ride?

I think I should replace passion with dream I don't ride anything yet... but I'd love to build my own trike one day. As I said it's the one mechanical vehicle I truly desire. Comfort of a recliner, with the freedom of a bike!

My heart, (don't laugh) as always had a soft spot for wanting to convert a Honda Rebel or Shadow into a trike. ^.^

Not laughing, most people laugh when they find out I triked a VF750!
