OMG., this is best Luna's picture I ever seen... Luna is my fav from Ponies, but I suck in drawing them, so, I can't make or draw my fav's... <3 While you are premium member, you should make journal, free to use with this picture on it *o* But it's just my option...

Does it throw a kink in your idea at all that Luna had her starry mane in the flashback where she beat Discord?
I think she goes through the change every once in a while, or maybe even depending on how she wants to be or her mood. Β After all, she's been portrayed with her hair both ways in the comics.

Yes, yes it does ): I'm so sad that it's been shown that baby luna is kind of her "power down" form. ;A; saadd....

I really love the idea of your drawing. I'm surprised no one else did the same.
It's wonderful work you've done. It shows too that even between her two phases, something beautiful of her didn't change physically: her gorgeous blue eyes.
That's an element of her that always strikes me.

Ah! I think I found it! The MΓΌn looks unusual because... I don't recognize his craters. It is like if there were the lower parts (witch means the craters), the higher parts (everything that is not a crater) and a third element: Clouds?
Yes, Clouds on the MΓΌn... that's not suppose to be there. But when I look at it, I can see three tones: dark bluish grey, grey and a light grey... You are going to tell me: Β«They aren't clouds, my dear.Β» I believe you, they aren't. So what are they then?
I understand this tone Β«couldΒ» be aspects of perspective. But there are not much shadows on the MΓΌn, if I can't say none at all. It's all flat.
So in my opinion, there should be only two tones: The grey and the Light grey. It might also be brighter (like if the reflected light of the sun was dissipated by... clouds.
So, what do you think of all this? Am I being a fool again? Or am I right? I'll be waiting for your answer.

Well, let's take a look at the moon! Here's a good picture: [link]
The moon has tons of craters and a lot of different tones in it! Not just one or two! It's got a lot of dark grey, middle greys, light greys, and of course, almost white! Maybe the problem is that i didn't make it crisp enough, that the moon kind of looks whispy, or kind of foggy - which is probably the cloud effect you see.
Do you think it would be better if i made the edges of the color within the moon more sharp? And less blurry or foggy? That might help me get a more accurate looking moon! The problem could also be that it's pretty far away and you might not see all the details quite as accurately. : P
Anyway, this is the kind of feedback i appreciate! So thank you. (: This helps me.

Well, about the tones, you're right. There are multiple tones of grey. I even sat at the other side of the room to see the MΓΌn's picture from far: There are multiple tones. What I should have said is that there are two main tones: The dark grey and the Light grey. When you look at the MΓΌn without really paying attention to the details, these are the two colors we notice. But in the picture you've drawn, it looks like there's a third tone, a middle tone of grey, that is unusually dominant.
Also, I now realize that the crater's position on your drawing are accurate to the real MΓΌn. This might not be a very important detail, but I think it might be analysed: We are in Equestria, not Earth (not in my opinion).
Should the craters look different than the usual MΓΌn? (That's really just up to you)
Anyway, to the following question:
Β«Do you think it would be better if i made the edges of the color within the moon more sharp? And less blurry or foggy?Β»
I am answering: Yes, exactly. That's what I would have suggested you. Because the environment of the picture is not foggy, the MΓΌn shouldn't look foggy either. Except for the very lower part on the MΓΌn where there's a cloud hiding it a little.
P.S. It was a pleasure for to help you. Hope you will post another picture soon.
Also, You might have noticed I'm using Β«MΓΌnΒ» instead of Β«MoonΒ». This is a direct reference from the awesome game called: Kerbal Space Program.(link to website [link] )
This is a Sandbox space exploration Simulator. In short, you can build a rocket, launch it, and try to get in orbit. You don't have an actual goal: you do whatever what you want. SO you have to fix your own goals: Get in orbit, do an EVA (Extra Vehicular Activity), make a rendez-vous between two space shuttles, build a Space Station, Send a probe to the MΓΌn, sent a LEM to the MΓΌn and then say: Β«The Luna has landedΒ». The nice part of this game is that it is realist. Getting to understand how to succeed a lift off, understanding how you have to modify your orbits to be able to rendez-vous, etc. If you are interested, here's a video of me launching my own rocket: [link] (I'm suppose to post the rest of it soon, but I have my own complications...
But that's just the beginning, you actually have an whole solar system to explore! (and Easter Eggs to find on every planets).
That's enough for now. I really hope you get the MΓΌn fixed.
